No, we don’t charge a membership fee. However, some classes may have a small fee to cover the cost of materials.
No! There is no limit. You are free to pick which classes you sign up for.
We meet on Mondays from 11 AM to 2 PM. Our co-op has one class in the morning and one class in the afternoon, with lunch and playtime in between.
We meet for classes at the Community Church of God, 1215 W Vienna Rd, Clio, MI 48420. Field trips take place at other locations.
Our co-op brings together families from many different Christian denominations. We respect one another’s beliefs, but we also don’t shy away from our faith in Jesus. While the focus of our classes is academic and enrichment-based, faith is part of who we are, and it naturally shapes how we learn and do life together. We know there are also other co-ops in the area that are not faith-based, but for us, weaving our faith into our community is an important part of what we do.
We do have guidelines in place to help things run smoothly, but we also value flexibility. We understand that every child is unique and learns in their own way and at their own pace. Our goal is to create a supportive environment where kids can thrive, while still keeping enough structure to make classes enjoyable and productive for everyone.
Our co-op welcomes kids from preschool through 12th grade. We currently divide classes into the following groups:
Preschool
Kindergarten–2nd grade
3rd–6th grade
7th–12th grade
These groupings may shift slightly from semester to semester depending on how many students we have, but we always make sure classes are balanced and age-appropriate.
Yes! We welcome others to join us for social events, but you must coordinate in advance with our co-op team. This helps us plan well and make sure everyone has the best experience.
Yes, we provide lunch to each child free of charge, and a donation is always appreciated to help cover the cost. Families are also welcome to bring their own lunches if they prefer.
Because we are a co-op, parent involvement is essential to our success. This is not a drop-off program. Every parent contributes in some way—whether by teaching, assisting in a classroom, helping with lunch, organizing activities, or supporting behind the scenes. Even if you’re not a teacher, there are always important ways to serve and be part of the team.
